Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Nasugn (“Nasugn”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Nasugn website and mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Nasugn is an online marketplace that lets you buy products, book local services and workshops, and sell your own products and services. The Service is operated by [Legal entity name], [registered address].

For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@nasugn.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account & contact details: your name, email address, and/or phone number. We use your email or phone to send the one-time codes you sign in with — the app uses passwordless sign-in, so we do not collect or store a password.
  • Profile information: any details you add to your profile.
  • Listings & content: products, services, shops, prices, descriptions, and photos you choose to upload for your listings.
  • Vehicle information (garage/workshop features): vehicle details and service records such as mileage, oil grade, and parts used.
  • Orders, bookings & messages: the items you buy or sell, services you book, and related order/booking information.
  • Support communications: information you provide when you contact us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & push token: if you enable notifications, a push token and basic device type (iOS/Android) so we can deliver alerts about your orders and bookings.
  • Usage & log data: basic technical information needed to operate and secure the Service (requests to our API, error logs).

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card/payment details are collected and processed directly by Stripe and are not stored on our servers. We receive limited information such as payment status and amount. See Stripe’s privacy policy.

We do not collect precise device location, and we do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

3. How we use information

  • create and manage your account and authenticate you (one-time sign-in codes);
  • operate the marketplace — show listings, process orders and bookings, and run the escrow flow that holds and releases payments;
  • connect buyers and sellers/providers so transactions can be fulfilled;
  • send transactional notifications you have enabled;
  • provide customer support;
  • maintain the security and integrity of the Service, and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • comply with our legal obligations.

4. How we share information

  • With other users to complete a transaction— a seller/provider receives the buyer’s order or booking details, and vice versa.
  • With service providers acting on our behalf: Stripe (payments, payouts, escrow), Amazon Web Services (hosting/storage), and Expo / Apple APNs / Google FCM (push delivery). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
  • For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, or safety.
  • In a business transfer — subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations (transaction records are typically retained longer for these reasons). When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

6. Your rights and choices

  • Access, correction, deletion: request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account and associated personal data using the in-app Delete account option or by contacting privacy@nasugn.com.
  • Notifications: turn push notifications off any time in device settings.
  • Photos: the app only accesses your photo library when you add a listing image.

Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/EEA, UK, or Australia) you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the Australian Privacy Act, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Data storage and international transfers

We store data on AWS infrastructure. Depending on your region, your information may be processed in data centres located outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and tokenised payments via Stripe. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
